Ayurveda is
a holistic, natural system of medicine with roots originating in India over 5,000 years ago. The earliest known references to Ayurvedic practices can be found in ancient Indian scriptures, known as the Vedas. The term Ayurveda comes from the Sanskrit words ayur (life) and veda (science or knowledge). This translates to "knowledge of life". The goal of Ayurveda is to restore balance to the body, mind, and spirit.
Why Modern Veda
Traditional ayurvedic treatments can last up to 4 hours. With Icoone™️ technology, our spa has been able to implement the additional benefits of body contouring with microcurrent deep tissue therapies of 650nm LED + 915nm Laser ...while also reducing treatment time to between 60-90 minutes. The Icoone™️ Roboderm has recently been featured in Paris at the IMCAS and as part of the Met Gala treatment offering in Equinox Hotels.
-
650 nm LED: rejuvenates the skin by acting on the fibroblasts present in the connective tissue and stimulating the production of collagen. This wavelength reaches the fat cells causing the transients pores on the cell membranes to open, thereby releasing the cells’ fat content.
-
915 nm LASER: performs a remodeling action by reaching the deepest layers of the tissue, penetrating fat cells and activating lipolysis.

Sōl Signature (provided only by Lilah)
Traditional Ayurvedic Bodywork, known as Panchakarma, is a treatment program for the body, mind, and consciousness that cleanses and rejuvenates. It is based on Ayurvedic principles, every human is a unique phenomenon manifested through the five basic elements of Ether, Air, Fire, Water, and Earth. The combination of these elements are three doshas (tridosha): Vata, Pitta, and Kapha, and their balance is unique to each individual. When this doshic balance is disturbed it creates disorder resulting in dis-ease. Panchakarma is done individually for each person with their specific constitution and specific imbalance. Alt-traditional reduces the treatment providers so, rather than two therapists working in tandem, there is only one.

Shirodhara
Derived from two Sanskrit words: 'Shiro,' meaning 'head,' and 'dhara,' meaning 'pouring or sprinkling something,' Shirodhara is the practice of pouring warm herbal Ayurvedic oils over the forehead in a steady stream for a set amount of time. The oil then seeps into the scalp and, eventually, the hair. Shirodhara is very effective to reduce stress and tension, to bring about stillness of the mind, improve blood circulation, memory, concentration and nourish the hair and scalp.
